FAA Written Exam Test Prep
The #1 reason students never gain a PPL Certificate is the FAA Written Test. I recommend the Gold Seal System. Do it SOONEST! The best money spent. Gold Seal will provide the mandatory endorsement for the FAA so you can take the written. Otherwise you need to work with an instructor 1-on-1 to get an endorsment and that is expensive! |
The most inclusive and up-to-date master test bank system I know. Install it on your IPAD. A perfect supplement to the Gold Seal system but focuses ONLY on the test questions. I recommend using an IPAD and downloading the App from the App Store. Not mandatory but will definitely bring testing confidence. Use it forever... the system never expires!

Many publishing companies provide hard-copy books of the free FAA official documents and reference. I just like the ASA company. Available directly from ASA or use your Amazon Prime account. See the list below for recommended supplies and reference materials.

Navigation, Flight Planning and Filing software. I use FlyQ but Foreflight is just as good. Not immediately required but I recommend for safety and awareness during flights.

An IPAD is not mandatory but recommended. Consider a Mini as working in a cockpit with limited space is difficult.
